This is anti-generic coaching for non-mainstream minds.

The mental health case no one talks about
Even with a good team and a decent life, it’s lonely at the helm. You’re holding it all together—for your business, your family, for you.
But who do you turn to when everyone turns to you?
You can’t always say it to your team. Or your partner. Or your mates.
But you can say it to me—because I get it, I care, and I know how to make it useful.
You could do this alone. I did—for years.
I wouldn’t recommend it.
This is the kind of support I never had:
Someone with real experience.
Someone who listens.
Someone who energises you.
Someone who gets it.
If I’d had this back then—
I genuinely believe we’d have made better decisions, had more fun, unlocked bigger ideas, and sold the company for more.
It would’ve changed everything.
This isn’t just a ‘call’
We talk about what matters most—then I keep working when the call ends
We start with a deep dive: brand, strategy, mindset, team—whatever’s most alive for you. You bring the challenge. I bring 20+ years of experience and insight.
This is coaching with compounding upside.
The regular calls (60–90 mins, weekly or bi-weekly) are enjoyable, focused, and brutally useful. We cut through the noise and decide what actually matters to move on next.
But the real value? It’s what happens between the calls.
You’ll get between-session input in the form of thought grenades™, nudges, feedback, voice notes, and reframes—dropped into a shared space that becomes your living thread of progress. Not just a dumping ground. A thinking lab.
You’re not booking my time. You’re getting a second brain that keeps thinking about your world when you’re not in the room.
Coaching starts with two calls + thinking per month.
But it’s weekly calls + thinking where the real magic happens. The more time I spend with you—and thinking for you—the sharper the insight, the faster the momentum, and the bigger the upside.
This is the kind of support I always needed—but couldn’t find. Now I offer it to you.

Short answer: it depends.
It depends how fast you want to move.
The core experience is the same — coaching and thinking.
What changes is the pace and intensity.
Weekly calls = weekly thinking
Bi-weekly calls = bi-weekly thinking
Both are high value. Weekly compounds quicker.
There’s no long-term lock-in. You commit a month at a time, so there’s flexibility to shift as we go. That said, this work builds over time — and I’m in it for the long haul if you are.
You’re not just booking calls. You’re getting a second brain that’s in your corner between them.
If you’re curious but cautious, I’ll give you a free session first.
You’ll get a real taste of how I think, and what it unlocks.
No pitch. Just proof.

I’m not reading from a script. Or a franchise coaching template.
It’s not faux therapy. It’s not passive life coaching.
I’m not a guru. I won’t be nodding, chin-scratching, and waiting for you to stumble onto a breakthrough.
It’s anti-mainstream. Anti-cliché. Anti-generic.
This isn’t “just” theory. I’m not an armchair coach.
I actually ran a business—and a beloved, chaotic, cult brand—for 20 years. I led it, scaled it, sold it, burned out from it… and most importantly, learned what I’d do differently.
So when we talk, you’re not getting borrowed phrases. You’re getting lived insight.
It’s bespoke. It’s collaborative. It’s energising.
It’s built for connection and momentum.
And yes—it’s meant to be enjoyable.
You’ll get an eclectic mix of Brain Tapas thinking:
Earned wisdom. Mental models. Perspective shifts.
Sharp questions. And well-timed thought grenades.
It’s deep, strategic, and playful—
Because insight doesn’t have to be solemn to be serious.
This is the kind of coaching I wish I’d had.
-
It’s part data dump, part diagnostic, part deep dive.
You’ll come in with context—what you’re working on, what’s stuck, what you think the problem is.
I’ll listen closely, ask the right questions, and spot the threads beneath the surface.
We’ll explore your backstory, mindset, personality (including things like Enneagram), and map the moving parts—from strategic roadblocks to mental fog.
It’s not a passive intake call. It’s a full-on sparring session.
I’ll challenge assumptions, offer live perspective shifts, and help you get clearer—fast.
By the end, we’ll know what’s really going on, what matters most, and where the biggest unlock might be.
It’s the foundation for everything that follows—and it usually starts with a “fuck, that’s it.”
-
It means you’re not just getting a call. You’re getting real mindshare.
When we work together, I stay close to your world between sessions—sending voice notes, thought grenades™, nudges, strategic feedback, whatever helps move the needle. We use a shared workspace to keep the thinking alive between calls. You drop updates or questions in, I respond when it matters most.
But here’s the truth: this isn’t a fixed-hours package. It’s a thinking partnership.
How much time do I spend outside the sessions? That depends on what we agree, what we’re working on, and how deep we go. Some clients want regular back-and-forth. Others just need occasional sparks. It’s flexible—and we’ll shape it together.
What I can say is this: when I’m in, I’m in. You’re getting access to a high-leverage second brain that’s actively thinking about your challenges—and that thinking often creates asymmetric upside. A small reframe, a timely idea, or a sharp decision shift can change everything. That’s the value.
So no, it’s not unlimited. But it is meaningful. You’ll feel the impact—and we’ll tailor the pace to suit where you are, and where you’re trying to go.
-
People I connect with. People I can really help.
That usually means people who are on some version of the journey I went through—wrestling with identity, ambition, burnout, or the pressure to make something great without selling their soul.
I work best with people who think for themselves (or want to). Who are a little left of mainstream. Who are trying to live on their own terms—and want clarity, momentum, and something they can be proud of at the end of it.
You don’t need to be a founder or a creative. You just need to give a shit about how you live and what you’re building.
This isn’t a corporate service. It’s a human partnership.
If we click, we’ll go deep. If we don’t, we won’t.
So I work best with people who are open to sparring—mentally, creatively, emotionally. People who bring energy and honesty. People who want connection, not just coaching.
This only works if we both want to be here. That’s the deal.
-
It’s not for boring people.
Not for mainstream thinkers.
Not for anyone looking to tick a box, fill out a template, and magically fix everything without doing the real work.
It’s not for people with no sense of humour.
Not for low-energy, closed-minded types.
Not for anyone who wants to be gently nodded at while they talk—but isn’t willing to be challenged.
If you’ve got a corporate background, that’s fine—as long as your brain’s been itching to escape it. Because I haven’t lived that life, and I’m probably not the right coach if you’re still deep in it.
If you can’t take a joke, don’t like getting in the weeds, or shut down the moment someone questions your beliefs—this won’t work.
If you’re an energy vampire, stay away.
But if you’ve got spark, curiosity, and a bit of fire—we might just make something brilliant happen.
-
That’s fine. Most people aren’t. And to be honest, they’re my favourite clients!
You don’t need a perfectly packaged goal. You just need a sense that something’s off—or that something bigger might be possible if you had the right support.
Maybe you feel stuck. Foggy. Like you’re moving but not really going anywhere. Or you’re clear on the ambition, but not the next move. That’s where we start.
In our first session, we’ll map the territory together: what’s working, what’s not, what’s weighing on you, and what would actually feel like progress. Then we’ll go from there.
You don’t need to know the destination. You just need to be willing to look.
-
We don’t follow a set curriculum. We follow what matters.
That might be strategy. It might be self-doubt. It might be a mess of thoughts that need sorting before you can make your next move.
We work on what’s most alive—what’s blocking you, what’s sparking you, or what’s quietly stealing your energy. You don’t need to have it all figured out. I’ll ask the right questions to get to the real thing underneath the surface thing.
Sometimes we solve practical problems. Sometimes we untangle patterns. Sometimes we blow something up and start again.
We’ll stay flexible. But we’ll stay focused.
-
This is mental sparring—so it needs both of us in the ring. You’re leading, but I’m right there with you. Sometimes as a mirror. Sometimes as a challenger. Sometimes as a partner helping you see what you can’t yet see.
I’m absolutely willing to give advice—especially if I’ve lived something similar or can see a strategic move you haven’t spotted yet. That said, I won’t pretend to know all your answers. My style isn’t to sit back and coax you into realising something you already knew.
This is guided discovery. Sometimes I guide, sometimes you lead. It’s the best of both worlds: insight that’s shaped by experience, but still built around your path—not mine.
If you’re after pure advice, you might want to check out my advisory or strategic support options. Coaching has elements of that—but it’s not just “tell me what to do.” It’s a thinking partnership.
-
Absolutely. In fact, most of my clients want that blend.
Some weeks it’s mental clarity and decision-making. Other weeks it’s naming your product, sparking ideas, rethinking a brand move, or navigating a messy team or leadership situation.
This is where my past life comes in—20+ years leading a cult brand, making weird things mainstream, and surviving the emotional highs and lows of creative leadership.
So yes, we’ll do the deep inner game work and the sharp strategic stuff. You don’t have to pick one.
That said, if you want more intensive creative or strategic input, I also offer advisory and project-based options. But within coaching? It’s fair game—as long as it helps you move forward.

Brain Tapas is me. It’s the way I think, and it’s my experiences. It’s 20 years of Firebox, and all the thinking that came from that. It’s the way my brain works—combining ideas, finding tasty nuggets, turning them into thought grenades that shift your perspective and give you those ah-ha moments.
It’s little dishes that leave a big aftertaste.
To be honest, I just love the name.
But it also represents all of that: thinking food for ambitious minds. A pick and mix. A choose-your-own-adventure. A way of combining things that don’t normally get combined, to create something new and different.
It’s about finding your edge. It’s about how I am, how I think.
And yeah—I love tapas. Obviously.
